I’d like to make an appoingtment with Mr.Hammer.(我想要和Hammer先生約個見面時間)

Could I see Mr.Hammer sometime this week?(我們能不能在這個星期跟Hammer先生見個面?

Either on Wednesday or Thursday.(星期三或星期四都可以)。

Would it be possible to see Mr.Hammer tomorrow?(明天能不能跟 Hammer先生見個面?) Does Mr.Hammer have time to meet with me tomorrow?(Hammer先生明天有時間跟我見面嗎?),或 If he does have time, may I meet him tomorrow?(如果他有空,我明天能跟他見面嗎?)

What time is convenient for him?(他什么時候有空呢?) What time is he available?(他什么時候有空?),但用 convenient 會給人比較客氣的感覺。 I’m available at three o’clock.(我三點有空)來試探一下也無妨。

I’d like to have lunch with him tomorrow.(我想明天和他吃午飯)

If you have time, I’d like to meet with you today.(如果您有時間,我想今天跟您見個面)雖然已約好時間,可是有急事想提早見面時,就可以用這句。 I’m sorry, but I’m really tied up today.(很抱歉,我今天真的沒空)。

Could you spare me about half an hour?(能不能給我半個小時的時間?)

I’m afraid I can’t.(恐怕不行)就可以了。

Could we get together at L.A.Restaurant?(我們能不能在洛城餐廳會面?)

I was wondering if we could arrange a meeting to discuss the new product.(我想,我們是不是可以安排一次會面來討論新產(chǎn)品)

I was wondering if... Would it be possible to meet and discuss the new product?.(10)直接求見本人

I’m calling about what we discussed the other day.(我打電話是為了前幾天我們所討論的事)

I’ve been waiting for your call.(我一直在等您的電話里),并接著說Let’s get together. When can we meet to talk?(我們來聚一聚。

What would you like to talk to me about?(你要跟我談些什么事?)

Can l ask you what you want to discuss?.

I don’t think we have to meet on this subject.(關(guān)于這個問題,我不認(rèn)為我們有見面的必要)

It’s probably not necessary to meet.(沒有必要見面)來加以謝絕。

I’m afraid I can’t, but Mr.Brown will meet you instead.(我不能會面,但Mr.Brown會替我跟你見面)

I’m afraid I can’t... I’m too busy to meet you.,說不定會給對方帶來受輕視的感覺。

May I arrange the time and the place, please?(能不能讓我安排時間與場所?)

Do you mind if I set the time and location for our meeting?(我來定見面的時間和地點可以嗎?)。

When do you have free time?(您什么時候有空?)

也可以用 When are you available?

I’m free at three o’clock today.(我今天下午3點有空)

I’m available at three o’clock.如果是[3點到4點有空]的話,就用availbale from three o ’clock until four 即可。

Can I see you Thursday at nine?(我能不能在星期四,9點跟您見面?)

I’ll be free anytime from 10:00a.m.till 3:00p.m.on Wednesday.(星期三的上午10點到下午3點我都有空)的話,可以讓對方選擇方便的時間。

A:Did you hear the news? Two of our major supplliers,Murphy Music and U-Tunes are merging! If they are conglomerated into one company into one company,it would have some serious affects on our market strategy.B:Are you sure?Who told you that?I highly doubt that they would take the step to merge into one company...They're supposed to be bitter enemies, the strictest of competitors. It must be a rumor. It can't be ture.A:I read it myself on the financial page. They're really going to join together.U-Tunes was bought out by Murphy's,they will take over the company as of next month.

A:I guess they must have figured it would be easier to merge than to keep up the cutthroat competition. If you can't beat'em,join'em.
