3.趣味操練 (Practice)
(1)游戲
玩Let's play中的游戲“擊鼓傳花”。首先,將全班學生分為兩大組。有節奏地敲擊小鼓,兩組學生同時開始傳花,當老師的鼓聲停止時,兩組各有一名學生拿到花,這時,拿到花的學生就說Hello, I'm …/Hi, I'm …(這個游戲也可用放音樂來代替擊鼓,學生可待音樂停止時起立做自我介紹。)
提示學生發音,引導學生區分正確、錯誤的發音。特別是I'm的發音,應為[aim]不能讀成[em]或[ai]。根據學生情況,逐步在以后的課時中感受語音,感受發音。
另外,此次練習中,若學生已有英文名字,即可使用,若沒有英文名字可先用中文名字代替。若班級學生人數不多,可在此為學生起英文名字。
(2)讓學生自己說說所學用語的使用環境,并讓學生自己擬定一個使用所學用語的場所。結合圖片,進一步鞏固情景。
為學生出示情景圖,讓他們自己說說,在此情景中該說些什么?
<情景一> 清晨,兩個小朋友在校門口相遇,猜猜看,他們說了些什么?
<情景二>上課了,老師帶一名新同學進教室。新生Lily該怎樣做自我介紹?
<情景三>下課了,有好幾名同學與Lily結識,他們是怎樣說的呢?
<情景四>放學了,同學們相互道別,他們彼此都說了些什么?
(3)兩到四個人一組練習自我介紹。若學生已有英文名字,即可使用,練習更有真實感。若沒有英文名字可先用中文名字代替。在此強調分手時說Goodbye./Bye-Bye。
(4)自由結合或自己下位子了解、結識新伙伴,尤其是了解伙伴的英文名字。再次練習Hello, I'm …/Hi, I'm …Goodbye./Bye-Bye。
4.課堂評價 (Assessment)
做活動手冊第一單元的第一部分練習。由于學生剛剛接觸英語,而且是第一次做活動手冊,教師要進行全面、細致的指導。
(1)教師與學生討論本單元獲獎的小花數量,由于是第一單元,起點可以稍微低點,盡量讓每個學生都得到棕熊或小松鼠的小貼紙為獎勵。
(2)讓學生看書上的圖,才圖中人物,想他們在說什么。
(3)教師講解題目要求并指導做的方法。建議教師提醒學生注意題目要求標記的識別,以便今后遇到相同問題時學生能獨立完成。
(4)讓學生聽錄音做練習。
(5)再次播放錄音, 在教師的指導下讓學生一句一句地跟讀并相互核對答案,最后通過給小花涂色進行自我評價。
5.擴展性活動(Add-activities)
(1)將制作面具的材料發給學生。教學生如何給面具涂色,將面具剪下并粘在小木棍上。
(2)學生帶上面具,互相打招呼并介紹自己,復習本課所學知識。
(3)提示學生,注意保留面具,以后教學活動中會用到這些面具。
